I’m exactly 30 weeks today.
At this point it’s so hard not to reminisce about EA and MC’s birth. They were born at 30 weeks.
I cannot imagine Jenny being here yet. Yes, I feel as if I’m huge already, but I know that it is such a blessing that my pregnancy is going well and she has time to grow and develop. Time that her sisters didn’t have.
When I was pregnant with Will, I was so anxious at this point. I was terrified of going through another premature birth.
At my 30 week appointment with him, my blood pressure was so high that we had to have lots of tests run to make sure that I wasn’t dealing with preeclampsia again.
Thankfully, all the tests came back with good results.
I think I was just so nervous, anxious, worried, and scared of the possibility that my body reacted.
This pregnancy is completely different.
I have a greater peace.
I’m not nervous.
I’m not anxious.
I’m not worried.
I’m just resting.
Resting in knowing that a healthy birth is possible.
And, honestly, I’m feeling really good.
I’m counting my blessings every single day that I have with my sweet baby growing and developing in the safety of my womb.

Congratulations! I remember 30 weeks like it was yesterday. Pregnancy is such an amazing experience. Feeling your little one inside of you a knowing that in time he/she will be here. I am so happy for you. I pray that you continue to have a stress free pregnancy. Enjoy, imbrase it and send a little of your baby love my way. I can’t wait to have baby number two.
