It is so important for us to remember, to ponder, and to meditate on what God has done for us.
The Israelites did this often during their worship.
The Passover celebration was a time of remembering their deliverance from Egypt as God’s angel passed them over and took the first born of the Egyptian households.
The Psalmists spend much time remembering the wonders, the work and the mighty deeds of God.
They remember and sing praises for His faithfulness, His steadfast love, and His deliverance.
We need to do this in our lives as well.
The Lord has done so much in my life.
By Christ’s death and resurrection, I have been forgiven of my sins and given eternal life.
God has saw me through times of deep loneliness and depression, being my constant companion and friend.
He has given me hope and peace in times of trouble.
He has provided for our family during times of financial struggle.
He performed a miracle in our babies lives, when they were struggling for each breath of life after their premature birth.
He has called us to serve Him in ministry.
He has seen us through deployments and grown our family closer even as we were separated.
God’s way is Holy!
It is perfect, it is pure and right…even when we don’t understand it.
The psalm asks, “What god is great like our God?”
There is none.
There is no other.
Our God is the only great God.
He is the only true God.
Remember his deeds and his wonders of old.
Ponder all of His work in your life.
And meditate on His mighty deeds.
Praise Him because His way is Holy!
There is no other god that is great like our God!!
