Decorating is not my strong suit. It never has been and it probably never will really be. I do an adequate job, but professional decorator I am not.
But I have been ready for a change to our bathroom for quite a while. So, a couple of weeks ago I went browsing through my favorite online country decorating store, PiperClassics and found just what I was looking for.
Before:
I’ve had this shower cutrain since the girls were babies. It was in our guest bathroom by their nursery. Now we don’t have a guest bathroom at all.
And this was my lovely bathroom trash can…yes, a diaper pail. YUCK!
After:
New Heritage Star Shower Curtain….it looks just perfect. I love that it goes along with the decor in the rest of the house.
Berry vines were placed above the mirror.
I hung a new barn star hand towel ring. I didn’t have a ring for the hand towel before! And brought in a berry wreath from the kitchen. Oh, I also got a new coordinating hand towel.
I brought in a large barn star from the living room. Redecorating doesn’t have to cost a fortune when you can scrounge up item from other places in your home!
And ta-da…..
….the bathroom now has a cute, matching waste basket!!
I love my new bathroom!!!
