We have a basket, but it is very cluttered, a shelf would be better. When you move I'll have to take a road trip to help you "finish" your shelf. I love those types of projects! We found a bench that fits nicely, and have the girls pretty well trained to put shoes on and off there. Now if we could just get Mommy and Daddy to do the same!
