As a mom, I am constantly making statements that I never imagined myself making. Often these are pretty hilarious after the fact and I wish I could remember more of them.
Yesterday morning both girls were in the bathroom and I heard screaming and crying coming from MC. When I went in to see what was happening, she was angry…very angry…with EA for wiping her “butt”.
And I found myself saying, “Don’t Wipe Your Sister’s Butt”. It’s one statement I never guessed I would make. I can’t say that I won’t ever have need to say it again, though…I probably will.
I think that is the beauty of parenting…there is always something new and fresh!
What about you? Do you find yourself saying things to your children that you never imagined to be a part of your parenting vocabulary?
Stumble It!

I know exactly what you mean. Just today, Anna asked me what one of the “images” was in her Spiderman fruit snacks and could she eat it? I found the words, “Yes, you can eat a spiderweb” coming out of mouth. The craziest things come out sometimes, and I always get a good laugh!

I have laughed about the butt comment as well as the others given in the comments. Now that my girls are all grown up, I miss those wonderful times!
