Eight years ago today I married God’s perfect gift for me. He is more than I could have ever dreamed of or hoped for in a husband.
The last eight years have been such an adventure. We’ve moved six times. We’ve served in three churches. We’ve pinched pennies. We’ve obeyed God’s calling. We’ve survived an Army deployment. We’ve braved an overseas move. We’ve become parents of three amazingly beautiful children.
We’ve laughed and we’ve cried.
We’ve struggled and we’ve thrived.
We’ve mourned and we’ve celebrated.
We’ve fought and we’ve made-up.
Today as I celebrate the 8th anniversary of our wedding, I am thankful. I am thankful for God for knowing my needs and meeting through Keith. I am thankful for Keith for supporting me, for encouraging me, for challenging me, and for loving me…unconditionally.
And as we are apart on this very special day, I am thankful for his listening to and obeying God’s call to sacrifice as he serves.
