friday photo flashbackAlicia at More Than Words is hosting Flashback Photo Friday so that we can share old(er) memories with each other. I am going to be participating each week by posting pictures from years past. I hope to be able to put up something from 2005 (the year my girls were born) to the past year that coincides to this week of the year. Does that make sense at all to you?

If not, you’ll figure it out…..

In July of 2005, EA and MC were only four months old. I had not long moved back into our apartment with them. Keith was home visiting from Ft. Campbell where he would soon deploy from. And MC was still on home oxygen after their premature birth. They were so tiny!! Here’s a picture of each of us holding our babies…

In July of 2006 the girls and I had just moved from South Carolina to Ft. Campbell, Kentucky where we were anxiously awaiting Keith’s return from his first deployment to Iraq. This picture was taken before out first Sunday attending chapel there.

By July 2007 we were in the process of moving overseas to Germany. Will was just a couple months old. The girls were enjoying themselves at a playground during our move.

And my what a difference a year can make!! Last July, 2008, Keith was deployed again to Iraq and Will was over a year old. Here he is playing inside his toy box.

Oh, Monica! How those pictures bring back such precious memories!! I love the one with Keith and how Mary Catherine is looking at him with those big, beautiful blue eyes. That is so typical of her always being so inquisitive and searching. And, my precious Elizabeth Anne was always reaching out her arms for me to hold her. I can still see her now. Now we’re just waiting for the time we can get to know little Will better. He just wasn’t around here long enough when you had to leave for Germany. But, he is a doll baby. Can’t wait to see you in September.
