I don’t often post about freebies and deals, but there are so many good ones out there today, that I just cannot resist. It just so happens that I’ll be out running errands and shopping all day for our beginning of {home} school week.

Chick-fil-A
Today is Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-A. You can wear a partial cow costume to get a free entrée or go all out and dress “head to hoof” as a cow and receive a free meal at your local Chick-fil-A restaurant.
Starbucks
From noon until 3 pm today you can get a free tall Starbucks Refreshers drink at participating stores. I can’t wait…I’ve been wanting to try one of these!
Krispy Kreme
In celebration of Krispy Kreme’s 75th birthday they are offering a deal where if you buy a dozen doughnuts, you can get another dozen original glazed doughnuts for only 75 cents! Yum…these are the best doughnuts ever, especially when they’re hot!

Sadly, we have no Krispie Kremes near us.
But, you are right, they are THE BEST doughnuts, especially when they are hot. We did however partake of freebie number 1 and 2. Loved the CFA… wasn’t so wild about the Starbucks refresher. Ended up going and buying my new fav iced coffee beverage… skinny iced white mocha with a shot of cinnamon dulce.

I tried the free samples of the Refreshers at Starbucks. I didn’t like them either. I got my favorite Mocha drink instead.

I actually made it to Starbucks about 5 minutes after the refreshers deal was over, so I got my favorite Mocha drink, too! Oh, well…it at least motivated me to get there. I’m not a fan of raspberry or lime, so I don’t think I would have liked the refreshers.
