Who knew? We always made it from scratch when I was a kid. Of course, I grew up in GA where we saw very little snow. Even if we did have a recipe, I'm not sure it would have kept for the "once in every seven or eight years" we would have needed it. The only ingredient we used that wasn't on your list? Cinnamon.
