We celebrated National Waffle Day yesterday with Ice Cream Waffles.
But, you definitely don’t need a special day to have these fun, tasty waffles!
They make a wonderful, healthy breakfast or the perfect anytime snack.
Ice Cream Waffles |
- Waffle Mix
- Water
- Oil
- Eggs
- Sprinkles
- Bananas
- Make waffle batter per instructions on box of Waffle Mix. We prefer using Krustaz waffle mix.
- Heat up Belgium waffle maker and spray with cooking spray.
- Pour batter into waffle maker and close lid. The light on your waffle maker should turn off when the waffles are done.
- Repeat until you have either used up all of your batter or reached your desired number of waffles.
- For each “ice cream” waffle:
- Break off a fourth of the round waffle, it will be in the shape of an ice cream cone.
- Slice a whole banana and arrange the slices on top of the cone.
- Sprinkle with colored sprinkles.
Serve with your favorite syrup.
Enjoy!!

What a cute idea! That’s adorable. My oldest loves waffles, but sadly I couldn’t pay my kids to eat bananas 🙁 Maybe I could substitute another fruit….too cute!
