Sarah November 5, 2009 at 5:44 am: Monica -if we have a chance one day I’d love to chat about phonics & reading. The girls have made it thru Mat, Sam & Dot of the Bob books but I think I’m lacking on the supporting phonics work that goes with it. Any ideas or books on how to teach reading would be so helpful – they aren’t going to get any help at school until Kinder and I want to keep working on it as long as they’ll (the girls) let me.

I just got 2 great ideas here! He’s not quite 2 yet but in just a short time I should be able to apply these! WHEW!
