LegoLand City

by Monica on June 30, 2009

Viewing the massive structures built out of legos in the LegoLand city was absolutely amazing!!

LegoLand City is located in the middle courtyard of the park. It is filled with huge lego structures built to resemble real places in Germany. I wish I had written the names of the exact places, but I didn’t and of course, now I can’t remember them.

Will was especially amazed. He just kept pointing at all of them saying “Legos!! Legos!!!” I think it’s the boy in him that really admired the massive construction.

Believe me, these pictures do not come close to capturing the essence of these structures.

Wow. Really, really amazing. Truly. Wow!

So, are we going to get pictures of the re-decorated bathroom? I saw your update on twitter and am interested to see what you did. :)

I think I can help with 2 of the pictures. The covered bridge in the first picture looks just like one that is in Lucerne, Switzerland, not too far from the border. I’ll double check my pictures to be more certain. The white castle is the Neuschwanstein Castle in southern Germany (often called the Cinderella Castle). It is a really cool place if you get a chance to go.

Looks like such a neat place. And the kids are at a great age for a place like that. I am so glad that you went!

They look awesome in the pictures! I’ll bet they looked even better in person. It’s amazing that they are legos.
