I’ve wanted to participate in Menu Plan Monday for a while now and the start of the new year is giving me a great reason to start. I usually plan out weekly menus but am not the best at sticking to them. My meals are usually very simple, especially with two toddlers. One of my goals for the new year is to try a new recipe each week.
Monday – McDonald’s…yes, you read that right! Sometimes you just have to have a taste of home in the form of fast food.
Tuesday – Mini Meatloaves; Scalloped Potatoes; Broccoli
Wednesday – Parmesan-Garlic Chicken; Maple-glazed Baby Carrots; Salad
Thursday – Left-overs from Tuesday (I have PWOC kickoff and an FRG meeting)
Friday – Left-overs from Wednesday
Saturday – Hot Dogs; French Fries; Chili; Superman Cake for dessert. Keith and I are having a Superman Party…I am actively supporting Keith’s comic book hobby! The plan is to make and decorate a Superman Cake….it’s been in the works for a while now.
Sunday – Pizza. I’ve recently started making homemade pizza. I haven’t made my own dough yet, that’s my goal for this Sunday.
