Monday - Pizza

Tuesday - Beef Pot Roast; Macaroni and Cheese; Simple Pull Apart Rolls; Salad
Can you tell we have company coming over for dinner??

Wednesday - Slow Cooker BBQ Pork Sandwiches

Thursday - Pasta with White Clam Sauce (Better Homes and Gardens cookbook p. 387

10 oz. dried linguine or fettuccine
2 6 1/2 oz. cans chopped or minced clams
1 3/4 c. half and half, light cream, or milk
1/2 c. chopped onion (1 med.)
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1/4 c. snipped fresh parsley
1/4 c. dry white wine or nonalcoholic dry white wine
1/4 c. finely shredded or grated Parmesan cheese

1. Cook pasts according to directions. Drain; keep warm. Meanwhile, drain canned clams, reserving the juice from one of the cans (you should have about 1/3 c.) Add enough of the half-and-half to the reserved clam juice to equal 2 c. liquid. Set clams and clam juice mixture aside.

2. In a medium saucepan cook onion and garlic in hot butter over med. heat until tender but not brown. Stir in flour, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Add clam juice mixture all at once. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir for 1 minute more. Stir in clams, fresh oregano, parsley, and wine. Heat through. Serve over hot pasts. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

Friday - Dinner Out

Saturday - Easy Taco Pie (Gooseberry Patch Speedy Suppers cookbook p. 86)

8 oz tube refrigerated crescent rolls
1 lb. ground beef
1-1/4 oz. pkg. taco seasoning mix
16 oz. container sour cream
8 oz. pkg. shredded Mexican-blend cheese
14-1/2 pkg. tortilla chips, crushed

Lay crescent dough flat on the bottom of an ungreased 8×8 baking pan. Bake according to package directions; set aside. Brown beef in a large skillet over medium heat; add taco seasoning mix. Place beef mixture on topo of baked crescent dough. Layer with sour cream and cheese; top with tortilla chips. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes, or until cheese has melted.
