There are lots of repeats on my menu this week because I was terrible last week!! I burnt myself out on ham at the beginning of the week and then didn’t want anything that I had planned. We did lots of easier substitutions.
I varied our meals a little better this week…at least I hope I did!
Sunday – Daylight Savings Brunch (pancakes, bacon, eggs, no-rise cinnamon rolls, & strawberry pretzel salad)
Monday – Taco Pizza
Tuesday – Slow Cooker Cheesy Chicken & Potatoes; Salad
Wednesday – Chicken Pot Pie
Thursday – Quick Fix Beef Burrito Skillet
Friday – Pizza & Movie
Saturday – St. Patty’s Day fun food (not all planned out yet)
What’s on your menu this week?

Bless it! I thought last week would have been too much Ham for me too. 🙂 I have found that ham freezes really well– either in large roasts, steak slices, and even cubed ready for casseroles. 🙂
Have a great week sweet friend!!!

I need to keep that in mind the next time I make a ham…ugh…I was completely sick of it after the second day (including sandwiches for lunch).
Thanks for sharing your menu!!! The chicken ranch pasta sounds so good!!!

Hi there. I love your faithfulness to post your menus. It’s Sunday night and I still have no clue what I am making for my family. How far advance do you plan your menus? I really want to begin posting them again, but the week seems to run away with me. Any tips or tricks, lists that might help me?

Thank you…I began making menus and shopping from them right after we were married. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have had a clue as to what to do.
I do weekly menus…I’ve wanted to do monthly but that’s a little too much planning and adjusting for me. I always plan my menu out before I do our weekly grocery shopping. I make our grocery list based on our menu for the week. I usually do our shopping on Saturday, so I try to make the menu out on Fridays. Sometimes that has to be adjusted based on my husband’s work schedule. I’m not a big fan of shopping for groceries with all four children!!
As far as tips and tricks, one of the things that have helped the most is making a list of the things that I cook most often. Then choose from those things first. Another tip would be to bookmark or print out and put in a binder the recipes you would like to try.
Hope this helps!!! (I probably wrote enough to fill a blog post 🙂 )

Are you making Corned Beef & Cabbage on St. Pat’s Day… that’s the only way to go in our Irish household! 😉
Monica says
I’m actually not…my husband will be out of town and the kids aren’t the biggest fan of it, so I don’t want it to go to waste. Instead I’m making a St. Patty’s Day pizza and having some fun food. We’ll make a little party out of it.
I have made corned beef and cabbage before and I loved it!!!

Good looking menu!
We’re having poached fish, something random, pot roast or beef stew, tandoori inspired chicken, homemade pizza and then leftovers.
