We usually have a large breakfast on Saturdays.
As I was preparing our blueberry pancakes last Saturday, I got a brilliant idea. I poured in a regular amount of batter for a pancake as usual (1/4 cup of batter) and then added two tiny bits of batter to each side to form the face of a Mickey Mouse.
I wasn’t sure exactly how it would turn out when I did it, so I was completely estatic when I flipped the first pancake over and it did actually kind of resemble Mickey!
I made one of these for all three of my children. And taught them that Mommy is the COOLEST!
Before serving them I used chocolate syrrup to add a smiles face to each one. These put smiles of EA, MC, and Will’s face for breakfast!
Putting smiles of my kids faces works for me every time!

Your kids will totally remember that. 🙂 I remember one time my mom made our initials with pancakes. It was so special.

Hey! Thanks for the comment on my post. It is always nice to hear other mom’s relate. Seriously, we need to rally together with all this “going through the motions” stuff. And encourage each other. 🙂 And let me tell you, those pancakes are encouraging. How fun!
