I first made this super easy recipe for Monkey Bread from Pilsbury a year ago when my parents came to visit us.

I have craved it ever since, but didn’t get around to making it until this weekend.

Not that it’s hard or anything, it’s actually very easy.

Here’s the recipe with pictures…

ingredients

Ingredients:
1/2 c. cugar
1 t. cinnamon
2 cans Grands biscuits
1/2 c. shopped walnuts, if desired (I didn’t)
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 c. butter, melted

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease 12 c. tube pan.

mix cinnamon and sugar

In ziplock bag, mix sugar and cinnamon.

16 biscuits

Separate dough into 16 biscuits.

cut in quarters

Cut each into quarters (4 pieces).

shake bag to coat

Shake in bag to coat.

arrange in pan

Arrange in pan.

mix brown sugar and cinnamon

In small bowl, mix brown sugar and butter.

pour over biscuit pieces

Pour over biscuit pieces.

Bake 28 to 32 minutes or until golden brown and no longer doughy in the center.

baked and out of oven

Cool in pan 10 minutes.

on serving plate_oops

Turn upside down onto serving plate. OOps….looks like someone’s already helped themselves to a piece. It’s called a taste test, right?

on serving plate_that's better

Let’s turn that serving plate around. There, that’s better!

Pull apart to serve. Serve warm.

eat

Eat…

enjoy

Enjoy….

Yummm. I can almost smell it! I love anything with cinnamon and being a bread lover? This is a winner for me!

I love this recipe. Sadly, I can’t make it very often, because I eat WAY too much of it when I do!!

Yummy! I haven’t had monkey bread in so long. My daughter would probably love this too (she’s never had it). I think you’ve inspired me to make some soon.

I looked around here for a bundt pan, and can’t find one! Last time I made monkey bread, I had to use a regular pan, and it didn’t get all the way done. Yours sure looks good!

We use this to make our “fairy cakes” though I use the prepackaged cinnamon bun dough. very yummy.
