This was one of those weeks that when looking back I can’t believe how full it was!
We celebrated EA and MC’s birthdays on Sunday. For their birthday, I created an insert to go between the pages of this week’s layout. It’s a back and front 6 x 8 sized insert with pictures from their birthday.
We visited a park close to our home for the first time since the weather is starting to get warmer. It was a fun day, especially for the kids, even though we were in the middle of a sand storm.
Also, this weekend we went on a Strong Bonds retreat with my husband to Albuquerque, New Mexico. We had such a fun time as a family! It was a long four hour drive there and back, but we managed to make it fun. I was able to have my hair cut while the kids were in child care on Saturday morning and we visited the aquarium on Saturday afternoon.

What lovely memories! And how cool to go to a retreat with your husband! I’d love to find one in our area- sounds like a great way to bond!

I love those birthday inserts – so pretty! I am not sure if you are printing a photo book at the end of the year or printing each page and doing a traditional album style? I want to do some insert pages in my layouts this year but I print mine as a hardcover book at the end of the year and wonder how that would look – I guess I could trim off the extra paper? Happy birthday to your girls
