My husband’s parents are moving out of the home they have lived in for the past thirty-five years this week.
It’s the home that my husband grew up in.
We visited one last time this weekend and took some lots of pictures to remember this beautiful place.
As we were taking pictures my husband would call out to the kids, “Say cheese!” “Say hamburger!” “Say purple!”
Upon that last command Jenny shouted a loud, “PUR-PLE!”
I was so surprised to hear her say this new word.
She was proud as a peacock of herself.
And this is what we ended up with when the picture was snapped.
