Just Be Yourself

It seems as if this is a lesson I am learning every day…to just be yourself.
I desire to be content, happy even, with the unique person that God has created me to be.
Sometimes it seems as if I’m always the different one…the one making a stand, or the one making the hard decisions.
I don’t like being the different one.
Sometimes I would like to just blend in with the crowd.
But God didn’t make me to blend in.
He made me uniquely me.
He loves me just as I am.
Maybe I should too.
Is this a lesson that you are learning, or is it a struggle for you as it has been for me?
Hmmmm, I’ve never done a page of just ME! I might have to do that soon. Maybe I’ll make it a personal challenge. Thanks for the inspiration.
To answer your question, it’s always a challenge for me to be comfortable in life. I always tell myself “you were made for this” meaning God made me for this. But I am finding the older I get, the more comfortable I become in my own skin. It’s not the fight it used to be.
