Promising Future

This layout felt as if something were missing until I added the large blended photo. My husband took this photo of me and Jenny when we were at the park on my birthday. I just love it!!

I can’t believe how little Jenny is in this photo from 2012. She was just almost five months old and had so very little hair! We went on a day trip to an apple orchard and my husband kept Jenny while the older kids and I picked apples.

I love, love, love every single one of Cindy Schnieder’s templates! I created this layout using one of her new release templates from last week. I also used a new kit from Julie Billingsley and Meghan Mullens. It’s an apple themed kit and I already have several other pages in mind for it. I love when I can really get good use out of a kit like this!

The alphas for the title on this layout come from another kit by Meghan Mullens. I wanted to use an alpha, but wasn’t happy with the one in the kit for this layout, so I started searching for something that would coordinate. One of the first places I start looking within my stash is in other kits by the same designer. I struck gold with these two alphas included in another kit by Meghan. Yay!!

I’m hoping to get a little bit of scrapping done this weekend. It will be my reward for cleaning the house this morning, which I’m off to do right now.
