Nicely done! It’s great that you had a great day and didn’t let it get you down. I’m sure they’ll remember their indoor picnic for a long time to come.

How did he like the tricycle? I was thinking of getting my youngest one for her second birthday. Somehow I missed the boat with the older two and didn’t get them bikes till they were older, but with watching the big kids on their bikes she is eager to be like a big kid. So, I was pondering the tricycle issue and wondering if 2 was a good age and what trikes were good.

We’ve rolled so many times that I think we could design our own coaster! I am so glad that you were able to salvage the day with a fun activity. That is one to keep in the back of your mind for another “ruined” afternoon.

We’re fighting the heat and humidity with a backyard design project. The girls and I are researching what we need to have in the backyard in order to attract birds to the feeders they want to put out. So far we are all enthusiastic and excited about what we are learning.
