London Bridge is

London Bridge is…
My husband snapped these shots of our children playing London Bridge while I was out on Saturday.
It brings back many memories of playing the same game with my cousins many, many years ago.
I grew up with a large extended family.
A whole crew of cousins could often be found playing games of London Bridge, Mother May I, and Simon Says in my Granny’s front yard.
What a time we had!
I am so thankful for these memories.
I am thankful for the family I grew up in. We didn’t have a lot, but we had such good times together.
I cherish the memories of those times, especially when it is my children who remind me of them.
I am also thankful for the sweet play of my own children.
I often regret that they aren’t growing up with extended family around like I did. But they do have each other and I love that they are so close!
I pray that over the years they will remain as close to one another as they are now.
I pray that they will always find joy in the simple.
I pray that they will cherish memories such as this time of playing London Bridge when they grow up and have families of their own.
