Welcome to Daily Dwelling’s third year of Ultimate Blog Partying!
Since participating in my first Ultimate Blog Party hosted by 5 Minutes for Mom in 2008, I have truly come to love sharing my life and my passions here through blogging.
Blogging started out as a way to share my life with husband, family and friends who were both near and far away as we were living in Germany. But through the last few years, blogging has turned into so much more than that.
It has become a creative outlet.
…a place to connect with other moms.
…a place where I purposefully find the positive.
… and a place of encouragement.
It has also become a place of learning….learning who I am as a wife and as a mother.
I have met and connected with wonderful people through blogging and many of those connections started with participating in the Ultimate Blog Party 2008 and 2009.
So, here I am again, inviting you to come look around this space I’ve created called DailyDwelling at the Ultimate Blog Party 2010!
Using the scripture Philippians 4:8 as a guide, I seek to share my life by dwelling on whatever is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, of good repute, excellent, and worthy of praise.
To tell you a little about myself, first and foremost, I am a child of God. I strive to live my life to honor God and His calling for me to be a godly wife and mother.
I have been married to my best friend, Keith, for almost ten years. He is a Chaplain in the Army and we are currently stationed at Ft. Lee, Virginia after being in Germany for over two years. I love serving along side my husband as a Chaplain’s Wife. Keith also blogs at chaplainandrews.com and Comic Book Day. He actually introduced me to blogging and it is a hobby that we share.
Keith and I have four children who take up most of the space on this blog. EA and MC are twins that recently celebrated their fifth birthday. They are currently in their pre-school year of homeschool. Will is a very active, almost three year old little boy. He is the little man in our house who keeps us all on our toes. And Jenny is our baby girl due to be born this summer.
I enjoy my life as a Stay-at-Home Homeschooling mother. It is truly the life that I have gladly chosen and even though there are daily ups and downs, I wouldn’t trade it for anything!

I’ve been following your blog for a long time now! I’m glad you blog because I find your stories so inspirational! Because of you, I found a friend who I had lost contact with and now we have reconnected. I love the stories about your children because sometimes now that my own children are all grown, I miss them.

I’ve been following you since before you got back to the states but I just wanted to say hi!
I admire you for homeschooling. It seems to me like it would be a very challenging thing to do, but I guess like with anything else it becomes routine. I wish I had the patience because I am not looking forward to the middle school years and beyond with public school.

I didn’t realize you were in VA. We live in Roanoke. When I was picking a blog name I seriously considered “Daily Dwelling.” Didn’t use it and had no idea you even existed! But our heart’s expression are much the same. Enjoy the Blog Party!
